When Our Managing Director Rob Carter entered the recruitment sector in 1996 as a permanent recruiter he embarked on building a career within an industry which took him all over the UK and into Europe operating within Food, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Automotive and the Service Sectors

On this journey, Rob soon discovered that following the crowd and becoming a sheep was not the way to perform as a market leader and certainly was not what you needed to do if you wanted to recruit, retain and place the very best of candidates with the very best of clients and stay ahead of the competition, hence the birth of Mercury Professional.

We pride ourselves on working closely with candidates and clients to ensure that we explore every avenue to deliver a successful recruitment campaign where round pegs are not placed within square holes.
